Thats what this site is for! ask as many as you feel the need. Calcium deposits may be sort of bumps or ridges formed in the actually shell itself. Or it may be sort of a sandy feeling type of bumps usually at the end of the egg.

Oh, okay. that's not too bad. Thank you for your help!! I will tell you when she gets to laying better eggs. One last question, Should I mix the shells and/or crumble in with their food or make it as like a side dish?

I always mixed it. I dont believe it will make a difference either way. Some say mix some say done. Ive never noticed a difference. But you can always experiment. Try it for a little while mixed and then switch to separate dishes. See how it goes. Good luck!
