what can I do to help our girl?Farm/pet stores are closed... Home remedies or things I can buy at the pharmacy would be helpful. Do I keep her with the other birds or in a crate inside my home?
She’s a bit lethargic and in shock but she’s awake. Responding to stimulation but eyes want to close. A lot of missing feathers and a large scrape/gouge. Not a whole lot of blood, do chickens bleed much?
I’m not that knowledgeable so please walk me through it slowly <3

That doesn't look bad at all. She looks like she got off very lucky. She's going to be fine. Do you know what got her? I don't think she needs anything special, you can give her a little electrolyte water or sugar water maybe, but only if she will dtink it on her own

I have her some sugar water, she drank a sip. I think you’re right it doesn’t look too bad. I did find a large gash under her feathers, I’ll try to take a pic. Would wound wash be advised? Thanks so much.

You could use saline, Vetericyn, diluted chlorhexidene, or soap and water to clean her wound. Plain antibiotic ointment can be applied to the wound twice a day. Since she sounds like she is in shock, I would bring her inside in a basket or dog crate with food and water available. She may not drink right away. Keep her warm. As long as she was not squeezed or shaking, she may not have internal injuries. It does look like she was lucky. Do you have a game cam or can you make sure that your chickens are securely locked up?

She’s inside in a dog crate and blankets. She looks good. Walking around! But crying quite a bit. At least it sounds like a cry. So lucky, this one. She free ranges and was in the neighbors yard. Thinking it was a cat or a coon.

Woke up this morning to check on her. Her comb is turning black!!

Oh I am sorry. She looks very weak. She might be not getting enough oxygen. Will she drink at all if you hold a small cup up to her beak? Some Poultry NutriDrench given orally might give her a boost. A half of a low dose 81 mg aspirin given orally daily might help with pain for up to 3 days, but only give it if she is awake enough to swallow.

I thinks I’m losing her. She won’t drink. My husband is holding her wrapped up in a blanket. She’s shivering and just wants to sleep
