I really need help from the more experienced. My Pekin Ethel Has been brooding away. Up until yesterday everything seemed to be going fine. She has 4 eggs. I call them 1, 3, 4 & 6. 3&4 seemed to be slightly behind in development of 1 & 6. I have not been sure of their hatch date because she is a first timer and it took a few weeks before she got serious about her setting. She laid MANY eggs but this is what was viable and left after all this time.
Anyway, I have GUESTIMATED that might be ready to hatch this weekend.... but for two days now 1&6 have not moved. I have attached pics 1 of each but when I candle I see nothing. Two days ago, I could see slight movement. Yesterday nothing. Today nothing. There is very little clear space left at this point that is not sold But where it is still "clear" I see NOTHING moving. I am so upset. I'm hoping it's moving in the center and just can't be seen but I have a super bright headlamp and I see no shadowy movement or anything. B3 was last active 5/30 as well but the only movement I'm seeing yesterday and today is when I turn the egg when candling and it's like a tiny jiggle in two little areas. That's it. I don't think they are supposed to have any jiggle upon turning are that? 3 is very solid also. 4 I see movement. I marked the air sacs over the last the last 4 days. They all progressed from 5/29 to 5/31. But only 4 has progressed from yesterday to today... have I lost my babies!?? I'm so upset. :(

I'm hoping there is a point hey are so big that you can't see or they don't really move much but I feel like because it's not completely solid and I still I have some clear space they have just quit on me.

Anyone that can help direct me or give information I am greatly appreciative.

THE FIRST TWO PICS ARE 6 & THE THIRD is 1

I don't see the pics but I just had my first few hatches this week. When I candled close to the end I thought half of them weren't viable. But I just left them there and all but one ended up hatching. There isn't much to be done either way but I wouldn't give up hope yet. Just try to let it be and you'll know soon enough. I would have an emergency incubator ready incase some hatch and she leaves before the other ones do. We ended up having to take one in and hatch it ourselves because mom had left nest with the other 13 already and this one was a little behind. Good luck!
