So I ordered 3 roosters from the fry pan bargain at Meyer hatchery which is supposed to give you purebred fast maturing roosters for meat. My family already butchered two of them, but we kept the one rooster that looks super pretty. I know he’s got to be a purebred but the thing is that the only possible breed he could be is a blue isbar. I can’t think of any other possible breed he could be, and he literally looks exactly like the pics on google images. When I chatted with a Meyer hatchery employee online however, they said that I can’t have a blue isbar bc they don’t have that in their breeding stock. So now I’m just confused. How did I end up with him? Here’s a couple pics of him if anybody has any opinions about this:

Looks like blue copper marans to me. The color is a little off, (leakage) but it is shaped like one and has leg feathering. https://www.meyerhatchery.com/productinfo.a5w?prodID=BCMS

I'm not really familiar with Meyer's but is there any chance they were offering Birchen Marans when these were purchased but are not offering them now? I'm really only familiar with Cackle because they're closest to me.
