Not my flock when all my roosters died defending our flock before we moved to this place,(we started over here with males) my females were devistated. They didnt start laying again until the amish gave us new ones.

Our roosters or male birds of any kind, have been raised from birth, and even our pigs are very protective of their females, at one time someone said all chicken roosters were mean to humans , that in fact isnt the case!
