Is her navel healed over well?
Is she walking?

Make sure they both have a warm spot in their brooder - do you have a lamp, brooder plate, etc.?
I like to use puppy pads to line my brooder for the first week if I have them inside. Pad catch water spills (if any) and make for easy clean up to keep the brooder clean and smelling fresh.

Yes, here navels healed. She is walking just fine(another chick seems to have cured toes though)! I have a heat lamp.

Cardboard is too slippery for chicks.
This can cause leg and feet issues.

You mentioned an hour ago a chick dying...which one of these died?

not these two they are doing fine. but for the black one there are two identical ones. I put cotton, is that better>
