These little ones are 3 1/2 weeks old.
#1. Mystery egg from MPC. The egg she hatched out of was a medium brown, darker than most brown eggs, but lighter than most of the Marans I have seen. Sadly, she is developing very fast, and I’m afraid she is a boy. Any thoughts on that would be greatly appreciated as well.
#2. Mystery egg as well. I’m pretty sure this is a boy. Sweetest little chick I’ve ever seen. I think he is a Blue Easter Egger. Egg was a very light pale greenish blue.
#3. This is supposed to be a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte. Just wanted confirmation in case I confused one of the eggs!

The 4th baby is definitely a boy (white spot on head) and I know what he is because he's a mix of my Olive Egger and Black Star Rooster. So no pic needed! I’m pretty sure all of my 4 babies are roosters. That of course is my luck and is no surprise, yet still very sad.

ON baby #3, Is that a bald spot on the neck?
I noticed that too in the pic and I am a little concerned I’m going to go check on them. None of them seem to like each other and the first and third baby have what I think are fights! They both crouch down low, beaks pointed at each other, and then jump up in the air towards each other. I see this happen quite often but I’ve never seen either get pecked. That’s another reason I think all for are boys.

They're pretty young but the only definite cockerel is #1. 3 looks to be a Black Laced Red Wyandotte (comes from breeding blue laced reds)
Yes especially if you just ordered an egg. When you breed two BLRWs you get 50% blue, 25% black, and 25% splash laced reds. They would have no way of telling which one you would get
I have updated pictures! They are almost 5 1/2 weeks old. I read that baby #4 is not necessarily a cockerel with the mix that he is, so I will attach his pic too. #3 is definitely a boy based on what everyone on here has taught me. I will attach his pic as a reference for anyone else wondering what their Wyandotte baby is. I am deeply saddened to see that baby #2 is getting a very red comb now. Do you think
boy? Do you think it is correct that that he is a Blue Easter Egger?
