It hatched with the yolk attatched! What do I do???

It should go away. He'll absorb it.

Some chicks are born like this. They hatch but the yolk sac isn't fully absorbed. I recommend you don't do a thing until he absorbs it all. If it's absorbed but the cord is still hanging from his tummy, CUT it, don't pull, or you'll definitely rip something out of him that he's gonna need! Hope your little guy does well and is all fluffed out and happy in a little while! Please keep me posted!

No. I think it might be infected, his belly looks really red and swollen. What should I do? He's acting fine.

Maybe you should go ahead and cut it off it he's not absorbing it.

I wouldn't cut it because it might make him bleed to death. Did you try giving him foo or water yet?
