Please Help!!!

someone please help! my hen cannot stand up and I'm afraid she may die. she is 6 I think, and never layed much eggs but is a healthy girl. so she now can't stand up and can't move very much. she eats food and drinks water but my mother and I have to help her. she doesn't have a poopy butt or anything. none of the other chickens are sick. when I got home from school today I went to go check on her and found her in the yard and she had some ants on her. in afraid she is suffering too much. if you know what's wrong or how we can help, please comment.

I am not sure but if you can send me a picture of the end of her I think I know what's wrong

If there are ants on her she may have a wound you don't notice, or some smell coming from her to attract them. Bring her inside and get all ants way from her. Then please post at "emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures.," thread. Please don't go offline - if you do no one can reach you to offer advice . If you think she is ill enough to be close to death you don't have time to waste - can you take her to a vet?

She said Ther she also layed a egg if the hen is 6 then it may have to do with laying it

Post as much information about your girl and all her symptoms as you can, that will help the experts determine what is happening.

thank you so much everyone. we took her inside and got the ants off of her. we think it may have been her smell that had attached them. we couldn't find any wounds on her. we've been keeping her inside and staying with her when we let her go outside to make sure the other girls don't peck at her, which they haven't even tried which is great. she seems to be getting better and can stand up now but can't really walk. we still don't really know what happened but we're glad she's getting better
