My chicks have coccidiosis! I ran to the store and got corid as soon as I realized what was wrong. Please keep my little babies in your thoughts. I really hope they pull through

Yes there is a chance. I have had this happen on occasion. The chick has not completely absorbed the yolk. Put triple antibiotic ointment or Neosporin on his umbilical cord to try and prevent infection. Do you have any nutri drench? Keep it in the incubator. It needs to be kept isolated and warm. If it survives it will just sleep/rest for a day or two. If you have nutri drench or other bird vitamins you can offer If a few drops when its awake to offer a bit of nutrition to help it a long. Good luck!
How are the chicks today? The corid should have worked its magic by now.My chicks have coccidiosis! I ran to the store and got corid as soon as I realized what was wrong. Please keep my little babies in your thoughts. I really hope they pull through
They are doing better! All of them seem to be okay! I really thought I was going to lose the blue Ameraucana but she seems like she's getting better. How are the chicks today? The corid should have worked its magic by now.
That's great. You must have caught it early, and the corid starts working immediately. Happy news! They are doing better! All of them seem to be okay! I really thought I was going to lose the blue Ameraucana but she seems like she's getting better.![]()
