I normally flip mine. i worry about liquid sealing the hole. Give it 48 hours from external pip instead of the normal 12 since it went straight to the shell.If anyone has any information it would b greatly appreciated I’m not sure what to do
I flip mine.I have not tried to open the shell at all. A chunk of the shell is off at the bottom of the egg. Should i quickly see if his beak is there to see if he is breathing ? I don’t want him to drown should I flip IT?

Oh right ducks (forgetful human here) yes ducks would take even longer.I usually turn the pip upward also. @Rose Quartz mentioned waiting 48 hours....ducks can take that long even when they do hit the air cell, so if it missed the air cell, you could be looking well into a couple days before it hatches. This one is really going to test some patience.![]()
