Please Help!

Can't really tell by the pic but might be Trichomoninasis, or canker. Yellowish lesions appear in the throat and esophagus, sorta rounded protrusions.
Treatable with Metronidazole at 60mg/kg of body weight.
and Dimetridazole at 50mg/kg of body weight in the drinking water (0.05%) for 5 to 6 days. These drugs haven't been approved in the USA.
Best to get Phantom to a vet. Hope he/she recovers quickly.

What does the hole at the base of his tongue look like?
I can look later

I found something!

Read through this. Its for chickens, but.... it might be helpful for a crane, too.

Oh and look at what it said in the article:

It said, "After being given antibiotics"

Cheezy yellow substance in thoat?

I think your crane has this.
He acts normal other than swallowing a bunch.
No runny nose or anything. Just that yellow stuff in the back. But could that be colored from the Dura 10? It is a strong yellow water after mixed. He also gets fresh food and water every morning. It is cold here so he has been inside a lot.

Ok. I’m not sure a vet is an option.

I surfed the internet for canker
I found a chart for canker vs. Thrush, which is the thingy I think Phantom has.

Because @The Phantom, you were treating Phantom with antibiotics, I think that Thrush is the most likely.

A vet would be best, so would another exam with pictures. Canker (trichomoniasis), is common in pigeons and falcons, but uncommon in poultry, and probably even less common in cranes.

I've seen yeast in the mouth of a couple of birds and it did not look like this.

I'm not saying it's can't be either, just that it looks more like bacterial pus to me.

Ok. How would he get that?
