I am new to raising chickens. What a great stress reliever. Dealing with extreme PTSD, the kids help me calm.

I am desperately seeking info on what is causing my girls to loose their feathers. See pics. Some have said bugs, some say pecking. But some of the girls are extreme loss. Specifically the blonds. other thought maybe my rooster. He has no feather loss. But as me know this is where he jumps on. The first blond is only dirty from recent dusting in my topsoil pile..lol

I would say it is your rooster, and that he is severely over mating your hens. Do you have just one rooster and how many hens do you have for him? I would consider either putting on a hen saddle to prevent further damage or removing the rooster.
