I have an 8 month old African goose (and several toulouse) and there is suddenly something not right with her! She is normally very loving, she comes up to talk to me whenever I'm outside and follows me everywhere. She is beyond special to me! For about two days now she started walking around on her tiptoes with her legs shaking and her neck hooked over. She normally walks with her head up in the air. She doesn't want to come and talk to me and is pooping alot more then normal. I'm extremely worried. Has anyone have any idea to what's going on?

Could you post a picture or video? It might help.

These symptoms you’ve described are serious, is it possible to get her to a vet?
This sounds like a neurological issue, it could be botulism, if that’s the case she needs to be treated by a vet as soon as possible.

There are other possibilities, it might help if you answer a few questions.

What feed has she been eating?
Has she had access to any stagnant water?
Could she have been chewing on anything strange lately? Like peeling paint, or metal bits?

She just started free ranging. She had been kept in a pen and now I let them roam. She also started having solid white watery stool. I'm going to call the vet in the morning. I was reading that it could be coccidiosis ... but i was thinking maybe neurological also. Sometimes the will stand up straight and walk normal. She has also been preening her chest alot.
