If the duckling hasn't made any progress, I would make a small safety hole over the crack as to ensure the duckling is getting adequate air, and work the shell off as *needed* from there. With malpositioned ducklings, the time between the external pip, and zip will be prolonged since they didn't internally pip in the shell.
My membrane is yellow and dry should I remove it. I already wet it with warm water but it did nothing.Read this, and follow up with any additional questions afterward.

I removed the membrane and I can see it pecking away or breathing. Now i am going to let it work out.Read this, and follow up with any additional questions afterward.
