PLEASE HELP!

Well it sure sounds like this is normal for some Muscovy drakes and possibly other breeds I have had Muscovy and Runners and Runners will do something similar but I have never had a Muscovy drake doing anything like that. Thank goodness i would probably think he was suffering lol First time I saw my Runner drake do the weird thing they do and pretty similar to what your Muscovy is doing I thought there was something seriously wrong with him.

I'm new to ducks, so you probably can imagine the stress

I've grown so attached to them... to me it's amazing, I never imagined I'd have ducks.

They can sure grow on us cant they?

I was dreading any kind of fungal infection..


I haven't found any video on the net that looks like anything he's doing.

I’d say as long as he’s eating and drinking and doing all other normal Muscovy things he’s most likely okay. I’m sure you’re keeping a close eye on him. I lost my oldest Muscovy drake this past March he would have been 13 this month. I sure do miss him.
