Please help!

No chicken likes you to mess with their eyes, but you need to drip some saline or water, or use an eye wash into her eyes 2-3 times a day. Then apply either the Terramycin or plain Neosporin/triple antibiotic ointment into the eyes. Something has injured her, possibly a hawk, raccoon, dog, etc. can anything get into the coop or run or dig under the floor? Did you answer if you have a rooster? They sometimes grab the back of the neck to mate. Saline is easy to make to use on her wounds, or you can use a wound spray such as Vetericyn. Look her over well for any other hidden wounds. Separating her in a wire dog crate with food and water inside the coop, or in a basket inside your house would be good. Do they normally pick on her or has she been having any balance or walking issues? Mushy wet chicken feed, scrambled egg, canned cat food or tuna are good things to tempt her to eat. Fluids are more important, so you may need to dip her beak in a small cup to get her started on the water or the food. Let us know how she is getting along.
Thanks for the advice, everyone! I really don't think it's possible for a preditor to have gotten to her and we don't have a rooster. yes I think she does get picked on sometimes because she is missing her long tail feathers, but I've never seen her before with actual injuries. I've gotten her to drink some, but haven't been able to tempt her with wet chicken food. I will keep trying though and hope for the best

I was SOO wrong everyone! I just went to try to put triple antibiotic on her eyes and as I was walking over there heard crazy squawking! I ran over there with my aunt (our family shares the chickens with them) and there was this enormous opossum IN THE COOP!!! It was just sitting there eating an egg! the chickens were going crazy! I'm sorry to anyone that I said there was no way a preditor got in, I was so wrong!

Omg! How did such a big animal get thru and into your enclosure?! I wouldn't have believed it either! Do try warm wet sponge on eyes. I soak mine in saline or 1sp of salt per cup of water. I don't have chickens but I held my duck wrapped in towel close to me with one arm....let her settle in and then gently and slowly dabbed and wiped her eye while speaking to her softly. Good luck. Hopefully you have someone to help you with that possum. I am quietly happy though that you don't have carnivorous angry chickens! *Brightside

Tube feeding is quick and easy once you learn how. You need to get either a tube feeding set (14-16 French baby lamb feeding tube and syringe) or get some aquarium air tubing or oxygen tubing and a 35 ml regular syringe from a feed store for temporary use. First read the link on where to insert the tube. Then use KayTee Exact Baby bird feed available online or at Walmart or per stores. Chickens require tube feeding 2 times a day or 3. Weight the chicken. Give about 15 ml of liquid food per pound of weight 2-3 times a day. Here is a good picture on where to insert a feeding tube or syringe into the esophagus to give medication, in the right and back of the chicken’s throat:

I found my chicken sitting all alone not moving, she won't open her eyes (they are possibly swollen shut) and is not responding to anything. (my best guess is that my other chickens were peaking on her and it just got really bad. this is the first day I noticed anything off about her though) I isolated her in a tote away from all the rest of the chickens and put blue Kote on her comb. I've tried to put soaked feed up to her beak and she isn't reacting hardly at all. can anybody think of anything I can do? any advice would be helpful! Thanks!
I have a post I just made that's they won't except my hen I would check it out you could get some information it's pretty similar to the problems you're having just she's getting pecked on the feathers there's holes in her feathers that are beak marks
