You can keep her in that box if you move the food and water close to her and monitor that she isn't moving too much beyond that.
I try to always leave her right beside them but she does end up moving away from them a little on her own. Thank you for your encouragement! I really hope she will be okay! Tuesday she was moving around pretty decently, but it seems like the more rest she gets the less she wants to move so I hope she’s not getting bored by herself 🥺

@Eggcessive

Can she walk at all? Do the toes curl?

I put a cast on my chick with curled toes, but she needed incentive to come out from the heat plate (in other words, we'd go in every couple of hours and remove it). This ended up being the right call. It forced her to put pressure on the legs for strengthening.

I couldn't get vet wrap to work for me, but there's a blue medical tape you can find at the drugstore that's marketed for sensitive skin. Worked wonderfully, especially after I made some cutouts between the toes (be very careful while doing this, obviously).

No, the toes don’t curl, they almost seem crushed, she barely flexes them at all. I can’t get her to move much unless the other chicks are around her but they are a few days older than her and have much more energy and tend to jump and stand on her, so it kind of seems pointless to keep any of them with her.

Can you post some pictures?
