im just now getting started raising chickens and i need help determining hens from roosters...is there anyway that you can tell them apart as chicks? i have heard several things but you guys on here seem to know what you are talking about. thanks in advance

im not really what you would call computer savy haha...i have heard you can tell by looking at the feathers on the wings and also by the cones on their heads?? is this true?

i would go take some pics but i don't have a camera haha...what are some of the indicators you would look for?
