oh my...sounds as tho they were hatched and these problems would then be from nutritional deficiencies in the breeding pair passed on mot likely. I would say to attempt to correct the splayed leg with bandaging and giving Polyvisol Enfamil formulation three drops in beak once a day for a week then taper off the next (for all of them)... either give AviaCharge 200o or failing that another suitable supplement. Wheatgermoil is great for some of the micronutrients .
As for the one chick which you seem to be describing as having a twisted or malformed foot/leg... correcting that purely by adding supplements will be insufficient but you can always try.
As to how and why they got the birds...if they have children I will just bet that one of them brought them home from a hatching class at school.
