Please help!!

So true, so true..... It seems as though we always get the challenge here... Guess we are ment to learn as much about it as possible so we can help others in the future... That or I really was supposed to become a Vet.. LOL ALways wanted to try to go to school for it.. Oh well, water under the bridge now.. I am enjoying my life just the way it is... I promise I will keep everyone posted on Donalds condition.

Donald is still not better. I am still taking care of him as needed. Trying to let him soak in water as much as possible.

Are you able to keep him lubed up with the Prep H? Only other thing I can think of is the vet. Does it still look healthy? I know i have read of others having to actually cut off the part that has died. I sure hope that doesn't happen with Donald. Will be praying for wisdom for you and that Donald will get over this.

Tissue still looks healthy, it has not gone back in yet. I am keeping it loobed. I sure hope it gets better soon! Thanks for all of the prayers.

When my snake had a prolapse, I was told to clean it, lube it with KY jelly, and using a rectal thermometer, gently replace it into the cloaca.

For what it's worth . . . .

This worked, by the way.

Perhaps instead of warm water, try cold water. After all, cold showers work for teen aged humans.

On a serious note, I'm not familiar with avian anatomy, but I do know that with humans, if a man has a prolonged erection, after several hours the tissue starts to die from blood flow issues. If ducks equipment works on a similar principle, your only chance may be a vet.
