Once they are grown like that it is hard to make the distinction between Pullet (under a year) and hen (over a year). I'm not sure why this distinction is important for you. It probably is a female if it isn't crowing. As far as telling age, well we know she is at least 3 month old. If she hasn't gotten any bigger in the 3 months you've had her, I'd side with hen over Pullet.

For $60, she ought to be a show-winning hen! As others have said, once a pullet reaches one year, she's considered a a hen. It becomes very difficult to guess her age once she's grown and your chicken is grown.
