PLEASE HELP !!!

Okay i know this should be in the injured chicken forum but nobody answerd and im desperate.... My chickens tail got ripped off and idk if i should take her to the vet or not... She looks fine but is missing part of her tail. Is she okay !

it looks like just the feathers theres no blood or anything , she doesnt appear to be in pain

She will grow new feathers. If there is no injury, why would you want to waste your money at the vet's?

I agree with Sourland, she should be fine if it just feathers, although she may look a little funny until they grow back.

What he/she said. If she were my chicken, I'd give her a little dry cat food for added protein. Seems to help new feathers grow in quite quickly, and they're shiny.

try nutrenas new food, feather fixer. I love it, so do my birds. lol
