Could be egg bound, or have egg yolk peritonitis. I don't have experience with either problem, but I would do a little searching on the topic and learn as much as you can.I felt underneath her today for swelling, and found her quite hard and swollen. I checked the other hens just to be sure and she was the only one. She hasn't laid in a while, due to age and winter. Up until a few days ago she was absolutely fine. After this swelling and straining, I would imagine she is eggbound?
