What made you happy today?

We are short two people at work so subs have been coming in to help. The one sub got me chocolate chip cookies for my birthday. They were so good

They were talking on the news that the Grand Rapids, MI school district has used up its allotment of snow days. Not sure what they will do if there are more cancellations.

Maryland has done the same thing, so now we revert to the virtual school we used during Covid. It's the one good thing to come out of that mess!

DANG! I like Ohio, too. Growing up, I had family in Akron, so we visited a lot on our way to Michigan. I got all excited because I thought I'd found another (rare) local.

It was an honest mistake. I clicked on the "The little farm" under your profile and it took me to a map of Wyoming Camden, DE, one of my old haunts. DS and I found it while exploring nearby railroad sites. We do that a lot when the weather is nice. DS was born with a one-track mind ... and the track has rails on it!

My sister and her family are coming over tomorrow for a taco bar and to watch Redneck Brawl. It's hilarious fighting and the fighters are terrible! But the commentators are so funny. Tomorrow is Michigan vs Ohio

Lana Skye paid a visit today! With the dead rodents I've been finding in the yard the last few days.I should have known she was likely around again. She is a fantastic mouser and her son Phoenix is a wonderful mouser as well!

The fact the local cats are all wonderful mousers also makes me happy! Cats that are good mousers are a major blessing!
