please help

She does eat so that is encouraging - could you add small amounts of water to her food so she will get some liquid without realizing it? I was going to suggest watermelon. Would she drink a bit of sugar water? If you could give her a taste off your finger she might like the sweetness.

Has she been laying and then stopped? I don't recall her age but thought I'd ask. With a pullet/hen you think about reproductive issues.

hello and welcome, hoping for the best

So sorry about your bird.

You can copy and paste it to the reply box so you don't have to retype the entire thing. You can then edit what you want to into it when you are there.

I sure hope you can get her back on her feet soon. Keep us posted and I hope she pulls through.

she loves watermelon....I bought safeguard wormer for her and a different antibiotic to try.what do uall think?...The man we bought her from said she was about 3 months but she is a red comet so she should lay at about 4 mos.? but I really do not trust that man now...so who knowd if that was even the truth about her age....

I even gave her an epson salt bath and towel dried and blow dried her and she absolutely loved the blow drier......cleaned her cage while she was soaking....I seen this spa treatment recommendation on the Internet.....but she hasn't gotten better or worse :/ now I don't know what to do with her in case she is a carrrier even if she could get better :(

Any luck on the other threads in trying to narrow down what it could be? If she passed (and I hope she doesn't) you could send her in for a necropsy to find out what's going on.

no, no other advice because I don't know how to copy and paste on this phone and even if I could my phone is so full it wouldn't let me....she is still alive but still almost exactly the same even after two days of worming and different antibiotic, I am however trying to get ahold of a vet from USDA to get advice as to what to do......

Great! now our favorite 2 mos. old is jerkiing its head, has bloody stool and pale comb and dropping tail....please help....God please not this one! anyone have a clue what this could be?

At that age with bloody stool the first guess is usually coccidia. Even if you are feeding Medicated Chick feed they can still come down with it. You probably want to medicate them asap, Corid / amprolium is most popular, you can get it at most feed stores if you don't have any on hand. Here is an article from the BYC Learning Center on coccidia. https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/coccidiosis-how-to-treat-it Sorry about all the problems you are having, hope the birds do get better.
