Please help!!!

Corid would not harm them if you choose to use it, but I still think there could have been some picking of the vent, either from a prolapse that went back in on it's own, or from one of the hens being aggressive. I have found blood in the coop before, and not been able to find where it came from. Combs get pecked and bleed pretty easy, getting spread all over others. Also feather-legged breeds can get blood feathers pecked, and cause a bloody mess.

Here are pictures of her. You can see she is pecking and eating grass but her bottom is all bloody

Is there more or less blood than when you first noticed? I would wash her off so you can see if any more appears and to keep the others from pecking at it. I would also suggest isolating her just in case she's getting bullied or is actually sick.

I haven't washed her yet because its been cool so I'm going to this afternoon. It doesn't seem like there is more.

You need to look at her vent for any prolapse. I think she was pecked. Some chickens will peck vents of others. Make sure they are getting a 16-20% protein feed, have plenty of room, and observe them for any bullying. A prolapse will appear red and will attrack pecking, and chickens will cannabalize each other. If you can get BluKote to spray around her vent (it is very blue staining) it would cover the red area. Of course if you see a prolapse, it should be treated with honey or Preparation H and pushed back inside. Here is a picture of a prolapse:

Ok, I will check again. I did check this morning first thing and did not notice any prolapse or peck marks but I will check again when I wash her. Is there something specific that I should wash he with?
