Please I need advice. My muscovy eggs were supposed to hatch today

So if I was to bring the humidity up by spraying her nest area and my hen with some water will that help soften the shells some so they can break through?

No. Spraying water won't do much but upset your hen. So long as your humidity where you are is normal, she'll be able to control it herself by staying on the nest.

EDT: And it definitely won't soften the shells. So long as she's making normal egg shells, the ducklings should be able to break through on their own.

It's perfectly normal for duck eggs to take a long time to hatch.

So how long after they start chirping in the shell do they hatch?
Should be less than four days from this point. My (mallard-type) ducks generally pip shortly after they break through the air hole, then take a little longer than a day to turn that pip into a zip and hatch. Some take as long as three days.

Yes please let your duck do it all they are much better at it than us. She controls everything including humidity . Do you have a heat lamp on her? No need to have one if you do. Flock Raiser is the best you can get for mom and ducklings never feed duckling layer.
