We had a bad thunderstorm last night and I had a chick go missing looked for her all day found her and dinner time, looks like she laid in the mud and has been drenched by water, she is not eating or drinking, any advise on what to do. I put her in the brooder box with my babies.
heres a picture of her. Please any advise.

She's probably chilled and a bit traumatized. Keep her warm and if you have to, use an eyedropper or syringe to get some water into her. Maybe scramble her some eggs and let her eat those for a protein boost. You may want to hold her next to you for awhile for comfort if she seems a bit shell-shocked.

I would keep her close to you to keep an eye on her. I would also look her over really thoroughly for any injuries
and/or bites. Maybe once she has a chance to realize that she's home and safe and everything is ok she'll
come around. Have you tried offering treats? I know some folks offer warm oatmeal or mealworms to try
and pique their interest and get them eating again. I'm sure there will be more folks chiming in with some
more advice for you. Just keep her warm and dry and where she feels safe. We'll keep her in our thoughts!

Keep us posted ok?

Agreed. Some scrambled eggs and maybe a blow dry (on low) with some cuddles and encouragement to drink some water is probably the best you can do for her right now. Let us know how she does.

Snuggling and a heat lamp work wonders.
