Please, I Need Your Best Argument

I need to go before City Council to try to legalize chickens in my town. I need your very best arguments, any links to newspaper articles would be great. I just need lots of presentable evidence supporting chickens so that I can go before city hall.


I Really, Really need your help, I know there is someone out there that can help me.

Are chickens dirty? Would their coop and run get dirty and smelly easily is there any way to prevent this?

I need your help. It doesn't even have to be about you trying to legalize chickens. Any information about their personalities, egg advantages, etc. are very welcome here.

You want to be able to raise some of your own food

chickens are easy pets to care for. People are not allergic to them like dogs or cats. They don't bite. Can be very friendly and curious.

Organic pest control. Organic eggs. Organic fertilizer. They eat everything from weeds to kitchen scraps to bugs.

Extremely educational. Invite local boy or girl scout groups, homeschool or public school groups, etc. to see them. Take chicks into classrooms. Most science courses teach the life cycle of a bird starting in Kindergarten.
