We don't have any avian vet's around here but I may send the photos to an avian vet in Raleigh that did a necropsy on my rooster last year. Thanks for the update!Here's the response I just received from my avian vet after he reviewed the emailed photos:
Hello Susan,
I am not sure what this mass is, but I expect that it came from the oviduct. Probably it is a mix of yolk and blood surrounded by a membrane secreted by the oviduct. Is the bird OK? Let me know if you have any question?
