How do I delete this thread? I was just asking for ideas I did not mean for help or anything. I feel this went the wrong way.

I don't know your teacher at all. I know vets though and I know birds. I also know that no person with all their brain cells would take that kind of a pay cut. Regular vets, even Livestock vets, don't know how to treat birds properly. Only Avian vets do.
