Oh geez..of course, did he explain anything?I found a vet that I don’t know about him so much but he told me if they don’t do a surgery she’ll bleed to death that’s why she’s in surgery now.
Please have us in your thoughts
He wasn’t an avian vet but he did the surgery anyway, he said if we wait she’ll bleed to death.Wow, you found an avian vet in the middle of the night and was able to get her to surgery within just a couple of hours?
Where are you located?
Best of Luck!
Excellent...the best outcomeHi
Daisy had surgery at 3AM last night while she had lost so much blood. The vet said she doesn’t have any option, he even didn’t have time to check with xray or sth and said it’s too risky she might not survive the surgery. Also he was not an avian vet and wasn’t exactly sure about medication dosage of anesthesia. After an hour or so he said he had to cut a few cm of her intestines and he said it’s better not to place suture for her prolapse rectul and let it repair by itself.
Thankfully Daisy was conscious after 40mins,and I took her home. This morning she finally drank some water and ate tomato but in a very small amount, she doesn’t have much appetite.
She’s not still out of the woods but she’s alive
Thank you all for your help and kindness.
