I'm trying to figure out how to get a picture of chicken anatomy posted here. I wonder if "sour crop" mean like when we have sour stomach/heartburn, or it just means too much stuff in the crop?

Why don't you go ahead and search "sour crop" here. There's different listings, you can see what people did to fix it, if it came out ok, etc. If she's getting better, I don't think sour crop is a condition that will kill her.

No. The weird thing is, I guess its good, but it's only that hen

So I was WRONG. I think massage crop gently hoping it starts to leave crop and go.....into stomach? There's a picture of chicken parts too

So we took the Ruby (the chicken's name) to the vet, and they said it wasn't "sour crop". They didn't know what it was, but what ever it was, it was severe. The vet had to euthanize her. He is going to see what was killing her. I will report back when I get the finial results.

Btw I forgot to say her name. It's Ruby
