Those Naked Necks do taste wonderful, I hear the skin is great too but I hate plucking so mine are all skinned. Much easier to skin them as well as pluck them. My avatar Picture is a half Naked Neck at 12 weeks that I processed Tuesday.

Wow, nice! What was the other half? These are mutts really but nice sized boys. 10 weeks now so we have a little bit of time.

I cross mine with Red Rangers mostly, I have a slow White Broiler I want to cross with my Naked Neck Rooster who is also white. The SWB just needs to mature and lay eggs. I will also cross them him with White Leghorns and see if I can make some egg laying machines that do not need to put much of the protein they eat into feather production.
