And, the entries for the day: (there will be more cause these are short)

Bisquick:
MOM GOT HOME!!!! MOM GOT HOME!!!!! MOM IIIIIISSSSS HOOOOOOMMMEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAY!!! NO MORE SUFFERING!!! Okay, I wasn't actually suffering, but having Mom's cousin take care of us isn't nearly as nice as our own Mom. Last night me and my sissies saw FOUR black cats in our yard!!!!! We got so scared!!!! Boodles is brooding, but she won't admit it. Her entry will probably sound normal. (little farmer note: Got any tips on trying to break a broody!!?? Please help!! I need them!!) Mom wants to break Boodles of her brooding, but it's not that easy. Anyway, I'm sure that there will be more adventures today, so we'll write twice. -Bisquick

Buttermilk:
FINALLY!!! MOM IS HOME, AND I NO LONGER HAVE TO SUFFER UNDER THE HAND OF MOM'S COUSIN!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!! Mom finally got home last night at like 11 and she checked on us with a flashlight in the middle of us sleeping!! For a minute I thought it was Mom's cousin, and if it was I was gonna peck her, but then saw that it was Mom and I was so happy!!!!! I'll write once more today, cause they'll probably be more news. -Buttermilk

Snap:
MOM CAME HOME!! MOM CAME HOOOOOME!!!!!! Buttermilk was leaping for joy when she saw Mom this morning, and we all scrambled out, except for me, cause I'm trying to hatch these doggone eggs!!! I'll write again today, cause there will probably be more exciting stuff to tell you!! -Snap

Junior:
I MADE IT!! MOM GOT HOME, AND I MADE IT THROUGH THE WEEK WITHOUT DYING!!!!!! I'M SO GLAD THAT MOM'S HOME!!!!!!!! Except, that there's a lot of pecking going on in the family, and Snap's gone broody, and we barely have any feed!! But other than that, MOM CAME HOME!! I'll write more today cause I just wanted to share the good news with you guys!! -Junior

Oh, the entries:

Bisquick:
Today, we came out three times. I like this new but old routine of stretching my wings three times daily. :) On the second time out, Buttermilk and I found a perfect place to start a new dustbath destination!! The new one that we started when Mom was on vacation only has enough room for one of us to dustbath at a time, so Buttermilk and I found this new place, and it's all roomy and enclosed. She and I can't wait to finish it tomorrow!! Snap is so crabby now-a-days. Junior pecks on her so much, it's kind of sad. Sometimes I feel bad for Snap, but then she goes pecking at my neck feathers when I'm trying to dustbathe. Hope she stops brooding soon!! -Bisquick

Buttermilk:
Today was absolutely fantabulous. Especially because Mom's home now. Bisquick and I were investigating behind one Grammie's pots, and we found the PERFECT place for a dustbath!! Our old one (well, it's farely new) that we dug up while Mom was gone only has enough room for one chicken, so Bisquick and I decided to solve this problem by fixing it. :) Simple solutions to simple problems. More tomorrow!! -Buttermilk

Snap:
I found the dustbath today!! Except that Bisquick was hogging it all day, so I decided to peck at her neck feathers a little to let her know that it's my turn now. She didn't get the cue, so Mom came and scolded me. These lame eggs won't hatch!! -Snap

Junior:
Bisquick and Buttermilk were gone nearly all day hidden somewhere!! I couldn't find them, so I was stuck to play with crabby Snap. She's so determined to hatch those eggs it's sickening. I wish she would just come out and play for a little, and be herself!! I hope that Bisquick and Buttermilk tell us (or at least me) what they're up to so that I can participate, and not join crabby Snap in her dustbaths. Well, tomorrow is another moody day with Snappers!! -Junior

Kay, sorry I didn't do the entries for yesterday, I was a bit busy. I'll do the ones for today later.

Bisquick:
Today was so fun!!! We came out three times, and Mom cleaned out our entire pantry!!! She took out these scary things with sticks sticking out of them, and they had two wheels, and they were called 'bikes.' I hate those things!! But, she took out our feed the 'bikes' and these other pointy sticks that Grampie referred to as 'nails.' My nails don't look like that!! But then Mom got all the empty food bags out, and the shavings bag, and swept out our pantry!! (little farmer note: the pantry is a shed that I put their feed and our bikes in.) Now it's all spic-n-span!! During the third outing, Mom gave us baths. I hate baths, they're my worst enemy, I tell you. The worst!!!!!!! But, now I'm all fresh and clean, and it feels pretty nice, more tomorrow!!! -Bisquick

Buttermilk:
Yaay! I'm all fresh and clean, and we came out three times today!! One in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once in the evening. Mom cleaned out our entire pantry, so now it's spic-n-span!! Bisquick told you about it. But, my favorite part of the day was bathing time!! Mommy held me in the water, and gently put some suds on me. It felt so nice cause it was so hot out today!! Then, she put a towel on me, and I snuggled up with her. Then, I was all dried, and took a dustbath. :) It felt sooo nice!! I hope tomorrow brings just as nice things. -Buttermilk

Snap:
I hate these eggs. They won't hatch, but I'm not gonna give up on them. Mom gave us all baths today, and it cooled my stomach!! I didn't want that cause what if it got too cool, and the eggs wouldn't hatch!! But, fortunately, that didn't happen, and I'm back on the brooder!! Mom cleaned out our pantry, and all of us got some corn. We came out three times today!! -Snap

Junior:
Noooo!!! I'm fresh and clean!! I like to be covered from head-to-toe in mulch!! Not sparkly clean, but Buttermilk loves being clean. She says it makes her feathers shine more often. Anyway, the reason why I'm clean is cause Mommy gave us baths. Sometimes I like baths, but other days like today I don't. When it was my turn Mommy came around the corner that I was hiding in and called my name! I raced around, but Mommy saw me, so I tried to outrun her, but it didn't work, so I got a bath. :| But, Mom cleaned out our pantry!! It's so nice and clean now, that it's almost sickening. Well, more tomorrow!! -Junior
