tips for a broody- I haven't had one, but i know some things to try. First, just isolate the chicken with feed and water until it comes unbroody. Another is to take all the eggs out, or switch them with ice cubes.

Snap: Thanks Ella!! My sissies don't appreciate it, but I've tried to hatch eggs before..........

Nope, the eggs will never hatch. My girls don't have a brother.

Oh yea, the entries for today:

Bisquick:
Today nothing really exciting happened, except that our Aunt came over!! (little farmer note: chickens 4 ever is their aunt, she's my friend.) We came out three times, but nothing super special happened. Snap hogged the one-chicken dustbath all day. We got the cornball during the third outing, but other than that, nothing much. Hopefully tomorrow's more exciting!! -Bisquick

Buttermilk:
Well, nothing exciting happened today except for the usual: Snap trying to hatch her eggs, we come out three times, and we eat and lay eggs, and drink and poop. But, our Aunt came over today!!! Like Bisquick said Snap hogged the dustbath all day, and l didn't feel like going to the backyard to take one, so I decided to wait. Besides, I took one just yesterday. Well, more tomorrow!! ~~Buttermilk P.S. I have a new little line, it's all curly-cue and cute!!

Snap:
Well, day 6, and these eggs aren't even squirmin' around in there!! They better do somthin' soon, or else I'm gonna give up on them. But, not yet cause it's been only six days!! I took a dustbath today and Bisquick said I was hogging it, and I said that she got one yesterday, then she had this really great comeback (though I'll never admit it) and said that I just had one this morning!! I was slightly offended, but ignored her. Nothing much really happened today. -Snap

Junior:
Hey guys!! I decided to open with a nice welcome instead of plunging right into my day and startling you half to death. I told Bisquick my idea this morning, and she said that you guys probably weren't startled. She always vetoes all my great ideas!! I tried to tell her that's not nice, but she said that my ideas are not all that great. :| I told her that's mean. She walked away. Oh well. It's what you get for being the youngest. -Junior

I JUST HAD THIS AMAZING IDEA!! Along with their entries, my chickens will have a little conversation!! Like the one that Junior and Bisquick just had, but with all of them involved, and them talking to each other!! All in favor take the poll!!
