This is very true!!! I was told by our local Humane Society "chickens are illegal and if we find out you have them, we will come take them away"... Little did they know, I was very persistent and had about 4 hours to spend on the phone to prove them WRONG!!! I was very happy to call the gentleman back and let him know that he mis-informed me... all I needed to do was get a permit from the health department and there is nothing anyone could do...
