Sorry to hear about your chicken. You can feed yogurt and electrolyte water. And definitely the corrid/amprol. Just be careful he doesn't aspirate any of it.

Sounds like the vet doesn't know himself. Where I come from our vets won't have anything to do with a chicken and will just give us BS or not return our calls. He should have told you what was wrong or told you he don't know.

Keep up the work and he should get better. I had a sick chick once and she pulled through on yogurt water and corrid.

They are very resilient! Don't give up on her! I have my fingers crossed!

Thank you for your support I cant wait to get the meds in the morning,Im a lil happier she just took a few steps but then landed head first in her food and fell asleep =\ if by morning shes still alive I know our prayers have been answered,I will keep you all posted,and thanks again for the support xx
 
Lil chuck passed away last night some time between 5 30am-6.30am im happy shes no longer suffering,this has made me realise just how fragile these creatures are,thanks again everyone for your support x
 
I'm so so sorry :( this is such sad news! I am very very sad to hear this! At least she is no longer suffering as you said. May God bless you and comfort you during this time of sadness! Again I'm so very sorry you lost her! God bless you!
 
Thank you,on the plus side I found a online store in uk that sells the amprol it should be here in 3-5 days I hope to get it before it gets to the rest of my babys,I really appreciate you telling me about that coccosis hopefully it has saved my other chicks xx

Thank you guys,ive just had a long conversation with a breeder/friend and shes taught me some natural ways to help treat my flock,ive started immediatly fingers crossed,if my miniature white silkies chicks she shared the incubator with was do die too id be deverstated,I guess knowledge really is power with these fragile creatures,im hoping that im much better prepared for if something was to go wrong again x
