didnt get any roos there... but I guess I cant really help; one of mine had a single comb which is unusual for SLWs (or so ive heard) and I think i just have wierd chickens lol
 
I like how you're thinking! Well, he/she/it is sweet so far and doesn't really act any different than the other ones so fingers crossed no crowing!!!!!
 
I go against the grain and say pullet. My SLW was red early.

Beautiful! I wish I cuold just WILL HER to be a girl! So Iguess the saddle and tails feathers don't matter as much as their comb for SLW?

Unless you legally cant have a roo sometimes they dont crow at odd hours. I have 3 banty roos in the yard and they are quiet till the sun comes up. Frankly they are not loud enough to hear with the ac on. Now new homes are bieng bult 250 feet behind me, Ill have to adopt em out on byc. Sad, they are good little guys.
