We have a 10x12 Amish built storage shed that we converted to a coop & storage. We use barrels for grain & other chicken foodstuffs. I’ll take pics hopefully tomorrow when we get back from appointments.
Here are the promised pics: used metal cans mostly. Previous contents were Food grade. The one blue plastic bin is for the oyster shells and eggshells. We numbered our lids so our temporary chicken babysitter would know what to feed the and when.

The blue barrels are older, tops are rusty, but all interiors very new-looking. The big green barrels are much newer, taller too. Hard for me to reach the bottom (I’m 5’3”). I wouldn’t get those again…
The greenies hold wood shavings (white bag from TSC) and extra bags of feed.
The 3 blue barrels are corn, pellets and scratch.
My tools for coop cleaning are a small dustpan and brush, and a standing dustpan & a broom, when I don’t feel like bending over so much ( the coop is 10x5, and 4 ft tall). We have 6 chickens.
