If you look at the video you can see what looks like some having adjustable brackets and some not.A worker at my TSC said that they only got the adjustable brackets for 2 of the heaters. That is the big problem. These brooders would be fine if they could actually adjust all of them to chick level.
When I was there on Saturday they had new signs printed up about how much they care about their chicks and how these new plates radiate, blah blah blah. Seems to me if they really cared they would send out more brackets and not try to convince customers that huddled up cold chicks are just fine. We can see things are not fine!
I signed the petition because obviously the complaints are having an effect, since they are trying to cover their butts with paper signs. Corporate just needs to actually spend some money on more brackets.

No, they called the YouTuber that because of his attitudeSomeone made the comment on this thread about the person starting the petition...(or maybe the OP? Not sure who they meant) being a "pompous ass?" Because they are concerned about the welfare of helpless chicks??? I don't understand.
Anyway, we don't buy chicks from TSC. Period. Or anywhere else where they're a large retail facility. TSC is useful..sometimes, for buying poultry supplies. They're just like any other retail establishment. The chicks are merchandise...and that's how they're regarded and handled. They do, however, prevent customers from picking up and handling the chicks prior to purchase...and that's a good thing for a whole lot of reasons.
The you tuber that started the petition. I didn't say it but did (and do) agree with it. I don't much like getting a finger shook in my face while he does things like accuse TSC for things like not being "transparent" because they don't publish how many chicks die or say they are really motivated by profit... while he claims to be transparent because he held up a sign saying 13 of his chicks died last year. Not very transparent if you don't also say how many you started with (somewhere else said he had up to 100 chickens) and says nothing about his "farming" income being from advertisers on you tube. That; not because anyone involved in any of this cares about the chicks.Someone made the comment on this thread about the person starting the petition...(or maybe the OP?
