Thang love in the Asian Theatre? Probably cause a mass quarantine situation worldwide if Thang left the confines of the US-North American continent.His genetics for friendliness don't need to be exploited,,let alone to another continent.The movie "Alien" comes to mind when I feed Thang. His tail is making improvements in length and looks and BOSS just dropped almost $15 a bag,,so Thang may see some in his feed this week.You see,I'm trying,going out on the limb,sharing the olive branch,going the extra mile for Thang.

No wonder he looked at me cock-eyed a little while ago,,he's starting to feel famous,,the start of an underground Worldwide Thang movement.His little pea brain will surely swell to HUGE proportions now.Suppose I need to get him a passport and health papers for international travel?

All this "Thang hero worship" is giving him a HUGE-Swollen head (hopefully allowing more brain cells to develope) But it's still not much bigger than a small grape

Okay,3 nights ago,Thang and company was removed from Pea Palace along with the 11 India Blues to spend the winter in the front pen which is 100% on concrete including flight pen.Thang was in this pen for 2 years until this spring when he was seperated and moved to Pea Palace,This pen is where the Charcoals are kept for obvious reasons of security.We always move birds at night,it's less stressful on them and when mixing birds it seems to help with noone being overly dominate and they easily settle in once put on the roost in the dark..
We had moved all th IB birds and proceeded to Thangs pen with only a flashlight.He immediatly went berzerk and flew on the side fence,clawed his way to the top,went under the top net and then flew into the Opal pen.He came very close to becoming an added Thanksgiving entree at this point.We caught the two other hens in his pen,loaded them into a dog crate on a wheel barrow,then proceeded to capture Thang once more.Found him crouched down next to the water bowl about 5' from our Opal B/S male Opie,if it would have been daylight i'm sure a fight would have occured,but I quickly grabbed Thang using the above the back wing grasp.Once I got him next to me and started walking his natural wild instinct took over again,,this time his claw ripped my new black Jersey Hoodie. Pictures of the damaged goods to follow.

Maybe he does have a grape sized brain after all...
OR...
Maybe he knows that you threaten him with deportation (and worse! crockpots! "Thanksgiving entree!") behind his back, and therefore feared the worst when he saw you coming at him??????

It was 11pm,,pitchblack outside when we started the re-housing of the peas.Last night I moved all 5 birds in the midnight pen,6 birds in the purple pen,and the 3 Opals and not one went stupid like this on me.Thang hatched here,I thought I gave him plenty of peachick-human bonding time??
