Please tell me my chicks can go outside

I have 13 chicks in the basement, 2 will be 6 weeks old on Monday. They currently do not have a light on them. Can I move them out into my garage? It has been 40-50's at night. Would they be okay without a light?
I also have 8, 3 weekers in the basement with only a whtie light, 250 (or 125) watts, I think. Would they be fine as well?
Thanks, last year I put my chicks out at 5 weeks witha light, Its been a long year. I've forgotten things.

If you put them out there with their light they should be fine.

The 3 weekers? The 6 weekers do not have a lgiht and are full feathered, sso I am hoping they will be fine.

They are not typically completely feathered out until 8 weeks. So, I think they'd be fine in your garage, but they DO need a light. Good luck!

I think the 3 weekers would be fine out there with a light also. Mine all get kicked out by 1-2 weeks onto the back porch. They still have a light, but I can't stand them in the house for any longer!

My 6 week olds are outside without a light. I would still give the 3 week olds their white light. But I would say you could move them out to the garage and they will be fine.

I've got 5 week old chickens outside without a light. There are 25of them and 3 ducks so they all snuggle together and made it through some chilly days/nights. The 3week chicks are too little yet without a light for sure!
