Please tell me that I'm wrong.

As others have said, the long-tailed one is most definitely a roo. The other two are a little more ambiguous. I'm leaning towards both of them being roos, however. That was my first impression and unfortunately the more I look the more I think "Roos."

First let me say they are nicer than the Dominiques I got from the hatchery.
Second I think they may be all roos.
Why? Because males are lighter in feather color than females and they all seem pretty light and similar when compared to each other. I recently went to a show and was impressed at how nice they were. You can easily tell a hen from a roo.

Also I'll add.
Mine are not family friendly, noisey hens.
Female chicks are dark and males are lighter almost grey in color.

Sorry.

Oh and glad your here, you'll be glad too.

I didn't know anyone guaranteed pullets. As far as I know the only way to be sure is to wait til they grow out and then I think they'd cost double or more.

Gotta friend who picked out 4 Cuckoo marans chicks. Three pullets and one roo, she was right on the money. Pullets are dark almost black. Roos are light almost grey.

I'm pretty familiar with Dominiques-hatched about 100 this year. You have 3 cockerels.

I totally agree. I also see 3 roosters. 1 has just matured before the other 2 and has a longer and more "rooster-ish" tail. The other 2 our just maturing a little later and don't have a rooster type tail yet.

Wow! Thanks for all of your feedback, and so quick too. Well, it seems as though I need to figure out what I'm going to do with these three roosters. I think maybe i'll keep one.

See, I didn't know doms were the same as far as colourization, and if this is the case, i would agree--three roos b/c they are more whitish than darkish. I know I can sex my BRs immediately after hatching.

Can you bring them back for an exchange for hens? sorry about your luck.
