PLEASE tell me this isn't a cockerel!!!!

Like i said, I have a different opinion. I am allowed to have my own opinion.
Okay, but saying it’s your opinion doesn’t put a shield around false information. You can say you think it’s a female, but I am allowed to tell you you’re wrong when you claim that you can tell gender of ten week olds by their pelvic points.

50/50 chance your wrong and i'm right.

I agree, but actually, that bird is definitely male- dark Brahmas are gender deviant when it comes to color. That one’s a boy. :)
Yeah that’s what I thought for mine. We have three dark brahmas total and he was the only one without pencilling and just looked splotchy, heavier, and larger

And why is that? I know I’m right. I’ve been raising chickens for years. Pullets only have space between their pelvic points right before they start laying.
If you can defer to a trustworthy source that says “Pelvic bones on pullets under 15 weeks are wider than males’’, then I’d be willing to consider it.

I've been raising chickens for years too. If i didn't know what i was talking about then why would i even answer this thread.

Lots of people answer things when they don’t know what they’re talking about. You wouldn’t be the first.
