Please tell my idiot owner what kind of rooster I am

I've got to agree with everyone, he is absolutly beautiful. And like said above me, somewhere, those saddle feathers look like dripping gold. I think there is game bird in him... somewhere. Definatly no cochin or brahma

I would say he was a barn yard mix. I have 2 hens and they are very cool looking. That is one hansom rooster you got.

you should hatch some eggs and see what you get.

I googled rooster pictures, then clicked on the one I thought looked the most like him..It said phoenix rooster So I googled that, and came up with several more pictures that looked a bit like him, as well as many that looked nothing like him. I am not sure what a Phoenix is but check it out.
