Please tell my your opinion...

Here is my chicken Laverne. I believe it is a she but have noticed some non-hen like behavior. First, I do not know what kind she is. She looks like maybe a Black Java but the yellow legs throws that off. Her feathers are black with the green sheen and she has some red or orange mixed in with the "green". She does not crow. Actually, she doesn't make more than a peeping sound. She doesn't have spurs...yet. I read that spurs could take as long as 10 months to start forming. "She" mounts my Golden Comet all the time. I have caught her trying to start a fight with Shirley so I am wondering if she is possibly challenging the pecking order. It is only Laverne and Shirley at the present time. What do you all think?? Hen or Rooster and what kind??

Sorry all those shiny feathers are telling me rooster, and the fact the (s)he mounts your Golden Comet, but who knows I could be wrong

I am not sure how old he is. The woman I got "him"/"her" from tried to say he is 16 months old, but even the newbie that I am I know he is not that old. My other chicken just started laying eggs last Sunday so I am thinking maybe 5mo or so??
