History is FULL of "when x new invention / technology is released, it will be the devastating end of y current cultural / human way of being."

I think more often than not, things don't play out that way

... and while I'm a HUGE fan of AI, I also treat it like any other invention that can be wonderfully-helpful or horribly-dangerous depending on how it's used... for example:

• Fire
• Guns
• Television / Film
• Automobiles
• Nuclear Power
• The Internet
• Social Media
• etc. etc. etc.

BYC could definitely deploy AI in ways that would be terrible for the community. We could (and do) also use AI in ways that are wonderful for our community. Similarly, I think it would be a disservice to our community, the hobby of raising chickens, and even our flocks if we completely ostracized any use of AI out of some false and unproven fear and/or narrative.
