Plucking with a pressure washer?

After you've "deaded" your chicken scald the bird for about 30 seconds.

Put carcass in a 5 gallon bucket and fill with water.

Use a two handed 1/2 inch drill with a NEW toilet brush fitted to a drill bit extension to coax the feathers off. Keep water running into bucket to flush away loose feathers.

There is also an area in the brain that can be easily accessed through the roof of the mouth that when pierced by a keen knife will cause the feather follicles to relax, making plucking much easier.

Try it & let us know how it works. Just make sure to kill the bird first. :pop
Might as well get the batter ready when the nugget is clean roll em in dough and through in hot oil . Should be able to save some dime size pieces anyway :lau

Get the water hot enough, add some spices and you could cook the bird while plucking/eviscerating. Cousin Zeb used to do it all the time.
Well Zep was good at chicken soup and this one should be nice and tender and in little bitty pieces . Little sage and some salt and pepper . And something to pick the feathers out your teeth . Yessir should be some mighty fine soup :lau
